How about diving right in without much of a foreword? Here what you need to stay productive and get things done, while spending less time on work.
Work less
Obvious, you say? Not at all. People still think that working 8 hours a day is optimal for them, even when freelancing. But in reality, the most productive countries are those where people work 4–6 hours a day.
It’s because the quality of your work is much more important than the quantity. If you observe how you work, you may notice that actually doing things takes about half of your day, while the rest is wasted on social networks and procrastination.
Your mind is much like your body. Working intensively for a short period of time and then resting yields much better results than working in a moderate tempo for long periods of time.
Do the work in the morning
You know how it usually goes — you really don’t want to work in the morning. You’d better drink some coffee, read news feed, browse social networks… But in reality, the first three hours after waking up are the most precious hours during which your brain can achieve maximum concentration.
It’s better to shut yourself from everyone and everything during these hours and devote them to work.
Take care of body
The body and mind are very closely related to each other. Without regular physical exertion, your creativity will suffer.
It also makes sense to abandon bad habits — quit smoking or reduce the amount of alcohol or fast food.
That’s actually it. Work 3 to 6 hours a day, and do it in the morning. And stay healthy. Do this, and your life will change for the better in no time. You’ll start having more free time and doing more work.
Have a nice day!
